At RUNdetroit our mission is to inspire physical, mental and social well-being through movement and connection. We believe this starts with a great fitting pair of shoes! Our 5-star fitting process is designed to go beyond just length and width and find the perfect fit, just for you.

Every member of the RUNdetroit team are experienced runners themselves, and have the training and knowledge to help you realize your best running or walking experience. To ensure you receive expert guidance and personalized service in selecting the right footwear, we implement a $25 Fitting Fee that is applied to your footwear purchase.

• Purpose: This Fitting Fee covers the time and expertise of our knowledgeable team members in assessing individual biomechanical needs, providing personalized recommendations, and ensuring proper fit.

• Application: The Fitting Fee is applied to the purchase price of any footwear purchased from RUNdetroit within 30 days of the fitting.

• No Purchase: If no footwear is purchased from RUNdetroit within 30 days of the fitting, the Fitting Fee is non-refundable. A Fitting Fee may not be applied to non-footwear purchases.

• Why do we charge a fitting fee: RUNdetroit has developed a reputation for providing an unmatched in-store fitting experience. As word has spread, we’ve experienced a significant increase in comprehensive fittings are being provided to those with the express purpose of taking our recommendation and buying from another retailer online. These shopping habits limit our availability to serve those that realize the additional value we provide, both during the fitting experience and to the larger running community. By implementing a Fitting Fee we are placing a real value on our expertise and ensuring that RUNdetroit is able to continue to support the Detroit running community for years to come.
• We understand the allure of shopping online. For your convenience nearly every item in-store is also available on run-detroit.com. We’re happy to special order items we don’t have in-stock, we are proud to offer local delivery and we continue to price match all valid competitor prices including industry specific discounts, insuring you can get the best price while continuing to shop locally. 

RETURN POLICY

FOR PURCHASES MADE IN-STORE: If your purchase doesn't perform as expected you may return it within 30 days with receipt for an exchange or refund*. Items with a Gift Receipt will receive a refund in the form of Store Credit. (Our return policy doesn’t cover ordinary wear & tear or damage caused by improper use or accidents.) To accommodate Holiday shopping we offer a 60 day return window on purchases made between Nov 20th-Dec 20th 2023

Please retain the original receipt & packaging until you're completely satisfied with the fit & function of your purchase. Doing so will make processing your return/ exchange much easier.

FOR PURCHASES MADE ONLINE: All of the above applies. Additionally, returns and exchanges must be initiated through the My Account portal. (See the upper right corner of your order confirmation email). Once you've initiated your return please give us up to 1 business day to review your request and provide return instructions. You are responsible for return shipping. Refunds of amount paid minus our original costs to ship it to you will be issued to the original form of payment. 

If you have not utilized our In-Store Fit Process or our At-Home Virtual Fittings we require that your Return Items be unworn, in the state you received them, and in the original packaging.
