We host a free group run every Saturday at 8am year-round, rain or shine. Each week we will have 3, 6 and 10 mile route options. We’ve got several routes that we cycle through so if you show up 3 weeks in a row we’ll do something different each time. Small maps will be handed out before the run. You can also view our running routes here. All paces are welcome — runners, walkers, walk-joggers — come on out!
The run leaves at 8am from our store at 441 W Canfield St. We’ve got lots of free parking options. Please do not park in the Traffic Jam lot. We can stow your keys inside the store and will provide water and NUUN samples for before and after the run.
We do this every Saturday year-round except for a few.

Our 10-week program is designed for someone who is not active and would like to run a 5K. It is intended to increase endurance and strength to take you from the couch to the finish line of your first 5K. Join us at RUNdetroit on August 31st 2016 at 5:30pm to learn more about the Fall Session
The Downtown Runners and Walkers are a longstanding Detroit running club. They meet every Tuesday for a run followed by socializing at a local bar or restaurant. Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome. Please visit their running group calendar for exact meetup location and time.
RTT’s mission is to create and strengthen a community of people committed to defeating obesity and living healthier lifestyles through collaborative effort, fitness, education and information sharing. Their fitness objective is accomplished, in part, through Run This Town (RTT). Their goal is to help members excel personally, professionally and physically. The “StoneSteppers” (named after Coach Mike Stone) is a running club with over 35 members most of whom reside in the in the Metropolitan Detroit area. While many team members are very competitive and typically place or win in their age groups, some members are not competition driven and run more for fitness and health. Many new members have lost incredible amounts of weight, others have overcome tremendous personal obstacles and almost all have become much faster and stronger runners. They are always looking for new members that want to improve their running and overall fitness.
